The collection
Six houses, one standard
Each villa is privately owned and managed by our small team, so every one meets the same standard: hotel quality linen, a fully equipped kitchen, a heated pool and a garden you will not want to leave. You get the space of a home and the service of a hotel.
Every villa has its own pool, heated from March to November at no extra cost.
Daily housekeeping
Fresh towels, made beds and a tidy kitchen every morning, six days a week.
Concierge
Restaurant bookings, tee times, boat trips and babysitters, arranged by message.
Welcome pack
A stocked fridge with local wine, bread, fruit and breakfast for your first morning.

About
Small by design
We started with one villa that friends kept asking to borrow. Today we look after six, and we have no plans to grow beyond that.
We know every house
Which shower runs hottest, which terrace catches the last sun, where the spare pool towels are kept. Because we manage only six villas, we know each one in detail and can answer any question within minutes.
A local team
Our housekeepers, pool technicians and gardeners live in Almancil and Loulé. Many have worked with us since the very first season.
Honest prices
The price you see is the price you pay. Tourist tax, cleaning, pool heating and linen are all included. No surprises at check out.

Notes from the coast
The cliff walk from Vale do Lobo to Garrão
An easy hour along the ochre cliffs at low tide, with a beach lunch at the end.
Start at the beach below Vale do Lobo and head west along the sand, keeping the cliffs on your right. At low tide you can walk the whole way to Praia do Garrão, where the cliffs soften into dunes and pine forest. Check the tide table before you go, wear shoes you do not mind getting wet and book a table for lunch. We are happy to do that for you.
Why we love the Algarve in winter
Soft light, empty beaches and almond blossom. The quiet season is our favourite.
From November to March, days are often clear and mild enough for lunch outdoors. Golf courses are at their greenest, restaurants have time to talk and the almond trees inland flower in late January. All our pools are heated, so a winter swim is a real option. Ask about our long stay rates for stays of four weeks or more.
Three day trips from your villa
Old towns, islands and a castle in the hills. All within an hour's drive.
Tavira, with its Roman bridge and whitewashed streets, is perfect for a slow lunch. From Olhão, take the ferry to Ilha da Armona for wild beaches and grilled fish. And in the hills, the red sandstone castle of Silves overlooks orange groves and vineyards. Our concierge can arrange a driver for any of these.
